Charlie Papazian is the founder of the American Homebrewers Association (1978) and past president of the Brewers Association (USA). He speaks and writes about the beer and brewing industry at many conferences, events and in many publications throughout the world. Charlie has five bestselling books and his Complete Joy of Homebrewing has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide. He is also known for founding the National Homebrewers Conference, World Beer Cup, the Great American Beer Festival, Craft Brewers Conference, BrewExpo America, Brewers Publications, Brewers Association Beer Style Guidelines, CraftBeer.com, and the magazines Zymurgy and The New Brewer.  His accomplishments and activities have been chronicled in National Geographic, Time-Life, Smithsonian and many other publications worldwide.
