Carl “Beau” Schiner from Wyoming, USA, is the head brewer at Austmann Brewery and Nobel Laureate in sociability.
Beau started his career as a brewer for Lervig in Stavanger before he came to his senses and moved to Trondheim.
He is a former rafting and ski instructor, and is blamed for the fact that Uma Thurman and John Cleese can ski.
At Austmann Brewery he is the anchor in the production and possesses extensive understanding and experience on both the technical and creative side. In addition, he is one of the most accommodating and humble brewers we have here in the country.
At Norbrew Con, Beau will talk about his brewing philosophy with a focus on fruit additions and other flavor components in beer.
